Eduardo Sancamillo

Drawing and painting always accompanied him.

This led to him moving his native Italy in 2007 where he studied traditional oil painting at the "Angel Academy of Arts in Florence" until he graduated with a diploma of exellence in 2010.

After working some odd jobs back in the U.S he decided to make the move to Berlin in 2011, where he quickly became active in the Berlin art scene.

In his early years in Berlin he was part of the PPC-collective which held its roots in the now famous Funkhaus radio station.
In 2017 Eduardo co-founded the H&C art collective & gallery.

Selected Works

It’s best if I don’t explain my work because that is not its purpose. The point is to feel what is in front of you, to be transported somewhere you hadn’t planned or envisaged, and to be held in an eternal moment as present as you or me.
To let you perceive a path within your mind of what you personally feel and see at this moment. The dialogue to be had with a painting should be removed from our reality and fill us with the love and freedom to which we aspire but can never reach.
To inspire greatness with no limits between the generations, with a message of hope and energy that transcends ourselves and our own experience; empowering the intellect and soul of humankind is something magical that must transmitted as a gift from to one another, as the great thinkers before us have and after us will.
To spark a discourse within ourselves and to reflect upon this reality we all see. With a new input for our perspectives, and for a spirit of inclusiveness that unites our communities and enforces the collective mind in the turbulent society of which we are all part.
